Who is responsible

Code With Vibes is operated by Lupo Rosso LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Code With Vibes. For anything privacy-related, we are responsible and we answer directly: privacy@codewithvibes.com.

What gets collected

Account data: your name and email, handled by our sign-in provider. Purchase data: handled by Stripe; we see that you bought and what you bought, never your full card number. Course data: your progress, bookmarks, and settings, so the product works. Emails you send us. And product usage data (which pages and lessons get used) plus basic first-party journey analytics, used to make the course better.

What it is used for

To give you access to what you bought, save your place, send transactional email (receipts, access, the updates you are owed), answer your messages, fix errors, and understand which parts of the course work. Not for ad targeting, and your data is never sold, rented, or traded.

The processors that run the plumbing

Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Sentry (error monitoring), PostHog (product analytics), Plausible (cookieless marketing analytics), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes your data only to provide its service to us, under its own security and privacy terms.

When it is shared at all

Three cases, and only these: the processors above, doing their jobs; legal compulsion (a subpoena, court order, or lawful demand, in which case only what is legally required is produced); and business succession, where records transfer to a successor under this same policy if the business is ever sold or reorganized. Nobody else.

Cookies

Authentication cookies keep you signed in; they are functional, not marketing. Site analytics also use two first-party random identifiers. One connects page and course events from the same browser for up to one year. The other groups activity into a browser session and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. These journey cookies do not contain your name, email, search text, payment identifiers, or IP address. If you later sign in, activity from that browser can be linked to your account so we can understand the course funnel. Clearing cookies breaks that link. There are no ad pixels and no cross-site tracking.

How long it is kept

Account and course data last as long as your account does, because ongoing access requires remembering who you are. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. First-party journey events and their random browser identifiers are retained for up to one year, then deleted or aggregated. Ask for deletion and everything else goes.

Your rights

Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion: privacy@codewithvibes.com. These rights are honored for everyone, not just where a statute forces it. If you are covered by GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, or similar law, the rights those laws give you are respected, including not being treated worse for exercising them. Note that deleting your account ends your course access, because access is tied to the account.

Where it lives

Data is processed and stored in the United States. If you buy from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the US; buying or creating an account is your consent to that transfer.

Security

Transport is encrypted, access is limited, payments never touch our servers, and authentication is handled by a dedicated provider rather than hand-rolled. No system is breach-proof; if a breach ever affects your data, you get notified as the law requires.

Children

The course is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child created an account, email us and it gets deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page changes, with a new effective date at the top. Material changes get flagged plainly, not buried.
